Kris and I had so much fun. We were up the mountain for six day five night. I was the only girl who was up there for all six days. Cindy and Aleana we there for the first day Cindy even stayed the night. The second day they all left me. I was the only female for the rest of the time but it was still fun. Sunday morning Berry shot a deer, the first kill of the hunt. He was a little guy, a two by one. He was so excited his first deer. He went all out, he went and bought a new gun, and everything, I was glad he got a deer. No one else killed one till Tuesday morning. Kris and I were just sitting on the four wheeler looking at this hill side and he spoted one. This was the last day i would be able to hunt so if it was decent I was going to take him. Finally I had him in my sights, he was about 250 yards away. I couldn't see his antlers, his head was in the trees. Kris said he was a decent two so I trusted him. I aimed a little in the trees and shot, I got him right through the neck. It was a sweet shot, I was so ecxcited. We found him and drug him down. We didn't have a knife with us so I couldn't do the dirty work to him quite yet so we hopped on the four wheeler and headed back to camp. On the way Kris wanted to look at another hillside and then I spoted another one right off the bat. Kris got him in his scope and shot. Here he comes tumbling down the hill as Kris starts jumping up in down say, "he's rolling I got him!!!" It was a good shot. We did the same thing drug him down and headed back to camp to get a knife. It was so exciting we both got a deer in about 30 min of each other. My deer was a little two point if i would of saw him i wouldn't have shot him but oh well. Kris's was a really nice two with two cheaters about to split into a three. It had a 17 inch spread, not bad for a two. I shot my deer at about 830 in the morning by the time we got kris's and my deer gutted and skined it was 6 o'clock at night it was a long prossess. Anyways it was lot of fun and lot of work. I dont think i want to kill two deer again it made for a long day. We cut them up are selves. we have lots of meat so if anyone wants any let me know we'd love to give ya some.
